Our esteemed panel took to the stage to debate this year’s theme “Have we lost the connection with Grassroots Footy” and provided an insightful and hugely entertaining morning.

| After much deliberation (and laughs) the affirmative side of the Hon Peter Costello, Peter Hudson and Joel Bowden were declared the stronger team over the negative side of Caroline Wilson, Paul Hudson and Simon Madden.

| With all funds raised enabling Very Special Kids to continue its vital work supporting families of children with a life-threatening illness, the 2009 Footy Fever Debate was a sensational start to this year's Piggy Bank Appeal.
