Thank you for feeding our piggy banks!

The 2007 Piggy Bank Appeal was an amazing success, raising more than $1.2 million to support the work of Very Special Kids.

Thank you to everyone who gave to our 10th annual Piggy Bank Appeal.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of Victorians who organised special events and activities throughout September.

Ray and Pierce Blinman, whose family was the face of this year's Piggy Bank Appeal, cracked open a giant piggy bank pinata to reveal the final tally of the 2007 Piggy Bank Appeal.

A successful Piggy Bank Appeal will mean Very Special Kids is able to continue providing support to families who are caring for children with a life-threatening illness from the time of diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement.

Why we need your help!

In 2007 Very Special Kids will support more than 770 families of children with life-threatening illnesses, and demand for our services continues to increase. Yet while this need for funding grows, some of the available funding streams have diminished.
